Embark on an unforgettable journey through the west side of S\u00e3o Miguel Island<\/strong>, where breathtaking volcanic landscapes, serene lagoons, and rugged coastal beauty come together in a truly immersive experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Our day begins in Ponta Delgada<\/strong>, from where we set off towards the magnificent volcanic complex of Sete Cidades<\/strong>. Along the way, we make a stop at the Pico do Carv\u00e3o viewpoint<\/strong>, offering panoramic views of the North Coast of S\u00e3o Miguel<\/strong>, with its lush green pastures and rolling hills stretching to the horizon.<\/p>\n

Next, we visit a 19th-century aqueduct<\/strong>, a remarkable piece of historical engineering that played a crucial role in the island\u2019s water distribution system. Continuing our ascent, we reach the famous Vista do Rei viewpoint<\/strong>, where you will witness the iconic twin lakes of Sete Cidades<\/strong>, one green and one blue, while our guides share the fascinating legends and history of this mystical place.<\/p>\n

Descending into the heart of the caldera<\/strong>, we stop at Lagoa de Santiago<\/strong>, a hidden gem surrounded by steep volcanic walls, before arriving at the charming parish of Sete Cidades<\/strong>. After lunch, we continue our adventure to the lava faj\u00e3 of Mosteiros<\/strong>, a striking landscape shaped by secondary volcanic activity. This area is home to black sand beaches and natural rock pools<\/strong>, formed by ancient lava flows, creating an awe-inspiring coastal setting.<\/p>\n

From Mosteiros, we head to the Escalvado Viewpoint<\/strong>, where you can take in breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean<\/strong>, the Mosteiros Islets<\/strong>, and the dramatic cliffs of Ferraria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
