This full-day tour<\/strong> is a perfect mix of adventure, off-road thrills, and spectacular landscapes<\/strong>, bringing you the very best of S\u00e3o Miguel\u2019s natural wonders\u2014all in the company of our expert guides. Get ready for an experience you\u2019ll never forget!<\/p>\n

Prepare for an unforgettable off-road adventure<\/strong> as we explore the western and central wonders of S\u00e3o Miguel<\/strong>, traveling through breathtaking landscapes, volcanic craters, and pristine lagoons.<\/p>\n

After pick-up, we begin our journey towards the west of the island<\/strong>, making our first stop at the Pico do Carv\u00e3o viewpoint<\/strong>. From here, you\u2019ll be surrounded by lush greenery<\/strong> in every shade, offering panoramic views of both the North and South coasts<\/strong> of S\u00e3o Miguel.<\/p>\n

From here, the adventure truly begins as we take the off-road trail to Pico da Cruz<\/strong> up to 856m altitude<\/strong>, where you\u2019ll witness 360-degree views of the entire island<\/strong> and the Sete Cidades caldera<\/strong> in all its glory.<\/p>\n

Following the mountain ridge<\/strong>, we explore the volcanic crater of Sete Cidades<\/strong>, stopping at the famous Cumeeiras Viewpoint<\/strong>, where the landscape will leave you speechless. Descending into the heart of the crater<\/strong>, we take time to explore the blue and green twin lakes<\/strong>, embracing their natural beauty<\/strong> before enjoying a traditional lunch<\/strong> in the parish of Sete Cidades.<\/p>\n

Leaving Sete Cidades, we journey along the southwest coast<\/strong>, where the blue and crystalline Atlantic waters<\/strong> provide a stunning backdrop. We then arrive at Ribeira Grande<\/strong>, where we suggest a stop at the famous Santa B\u00e1rbara Beach<\/strong>, a black sand paradise<\/strong> and home to a World Surfing Championship stage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After exploring the historic center of Ribeira Grande<\/strong>, we continue to the Ponta do Cintr\u00e3o viewpoint<\/strong>, where rugged cliffs<\/strong> meet the untamed beauty of the North coast<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At last, we reach the breathtaking Lagoa do Fogo<\/strong>, one of S\u00e3o Miguel\u2019s most iconic landmarks. From this high-altitude viewpoint, gaze upon the expansive volcanic crater<\/strong>, where the intense blue of the waters and emerald green landscape<\/strong> contrast. From here, we also admire stunning views over Lagoa, Ponta Delgada, and Ribeira Grande<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
