Discover one of the gems of the island of São Miguel. This hike begins in one of the most remote villages on the island of São Miguel (Faial da Terra). This stunning walk will take you to a green and intense vegetation following the course of a stream of crystalline water that will take you to a small but beautiful waterfall with all its nature on it. On the way back, we will pass by the old and historic village of Sanguinho at the top of the mountain where we will have a unique view of the coast and the parish of Faial da Terra and the entire ocean that surrounds us.

On the way back we will take in a view of an impressive waterfall in the parish of Ribeira Quente, returning to the village of Furnas and be amazed by the whole landscape of an active volcano and all the mystery behind it.
